The Elnora Seifferlein Leyes Family

We had a memorial stone made for our original Seifferlein Family to America who entered through Detroit, and settled as farmers in Macomb County. Over 200 bodies were moved in 1930 without any headstones to the new church cemetery, and placed in a communal grave. I worked with the Church Sexton and we found a spot to place our family headstone on top of a Seifferlein infant.

We are coming together this summer to host a Seifferlein Reunion with an old-fashioned picnic on top of their graves! Lincoln Granite had excellent reviews. That’s why we choose them. They said that their spring turn-around was 6-8 weeks. They finished in just 2 weeks! I highly recommend them, and I give permission to the company to post our headstone to inspire others to do the same as we did for our families.

Thank you for your kind words.  We were pleased to be able to complete this historical marker for your family. Lincoln Granite
