Historic Forest Lawn Memorial Park, founded in 1889, is located in the heart of Detroit. The cemetery offers a unique “state-of-the-art” lawn crypt garden, with a beautiful tree-lined main entrance. Its 121 acres features a variety of mature trees and shrubbery. Forest Lawn is home to one chapel mausoleum and graves are marked with bronze memorials set flush with the ground, and granite monuments.
